Terms and Conditions for ArroHop
Welcome to ArroHop! These Terms and Conditions (the "Terms", "Agreement") govern your access to and use of the ArroHop mobile application (Package Name: com.mobodevs.arrohop, referred to as the "Game", "App", or "Service"), developed and published by MoboDevs ("we", "us", or "our").
By downloading, installing, accessing, or playing ArroHop, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not download, install, or use the App.
Eligibility
1. Eligibility & Age Requirements
- ArroHop is intended for general audiences of all ages.
- If you are under the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction (typically 18 years old, or under 13 in the United States / under 16 in the EEA), you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf prior to using the App.
License Grant
2. License Grant & Permitted Use
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, MoboDevs grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable, and limited license to download, install, and play one copy of ArroHop on an Android-compatible device that you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial entertainment purposes.
Intellectual Property
3. Intellectual Property Rights
- Exclusive Ownership: All rights, title, and interest in and to ArroHop—including but not limited to the puzzle designs, procedural generation algorithms, source code, game engine, artwork, user interfaces, animations, sound effects, marimba audio compositions, visual particle effects, logos, and trademarks—are the exclusive intellectual property of MoboDevs and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.
- Reservation of Rights: All rights not expressly granted to you under these Terms are reserved by MoboDevs. You do not acquire any ownership rights or title in the App or any in-game assets.
Prohibited Uses
4. Prohibited Conduct & Restrictions
When using ArroHop, you agree that you will NOT:
- Decompile or Reverse Engineer: Disassemble, decompile, reverse engineer, decode, or attempt to derive the source code or underlying logic of the App, in whole or in part.
- Cheat or Exploit: Use cheats, automation software, bots, hacks, mods, or any unauthorized third-party software designed to modify, automate, manipulate, or gain unfair advantage in gameplay, streaks, hints, or ad rewards.
- Bypass Advertising Safeguards: Interfere with, tamper with, block, or manipulate the advertising mechanisms, rewarded video callbacks, or network verification systems integrated into the App.
- Redistribute or Commercialize: Sell, resell, rent, lease, distribute, host, sublicense, or otherwise commercially exploit the App or any part thereof without prior written consent from MoboDevs.
- Create Derivative Works: Modify, translate, adapt, or create derivative works based upon the App or its puzzle algorithms.
- Violate Laws: Use the App in any manner that violates applicable local, national, or international laws or regulations.
Virtual Economy
5. In-Game Virtual Items & Game Economy
1. Nature of Virtual Items: ArroHop provides access to virtual in-game elements, including Hints, Hearts / Lives, Stars, and Daily Streaks ("Virtual Items").
2. No Real-World Monetary Value: Virtual Items are provided strictly as gameplay mechanics for entertainment. They have ZERO monetary value, do not constitute personal property, and cannot be redeemed for fiat currency, real-world goods, or services from us or any third party.
3. Non-Transferable: Virtual Items cannot be sold, transferred, gifted, traded, or exchanged with other players or third parties.
4. Zero In-App Purchases (IAP): ArroHop does not offer real-money in-app purchases. Hints, extra time, and revives are earned strictly through puzzle completion, progression rewards, or optional rewarded advertisements.
5. Local Storage & Data Loss: Because all game progress and hint balances are stored locally on your device (SharedPreferences), clearing the App’s data in your device settings or uninstalling the Game will permanently reset your Virtual Items and progress. MoboDevs is not responsible for any lost virtual progress.
In-App Ads
6. Advertisements & Rewarded Features
1. Ad-Supported Service: ArroHop is offered free of charge and is supported by advertisements served through the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob), including banner ads, interstitial ads, and rewarded video ads.
2. Rewarded Video Requirements: In-game rewards (such as reviving with full hearts, adding +30 seconds of extra time, refilling hearts, or claiming bonus hints) strictly require an active internet connection and the complete, uninterrupted playback of the rewarded video ad. No rewards will be granted if an ad is aborted, skipped early, blocked, or fails to show.
3. Third-Party Advertisers: Advertisements displayed in the Game are provided by third-party ad networks. We do not endorse, guarantee, or assume liability for any products, services, claims, or websites advertised. Any dealings you have with advertisers are solely between you and the advertiser.
Requirements & Updates
7. System Requirements & Offline Availability
1. Device Compatibility: ArroHop requires a compatible Android device running Android 7.0 (API Level 24) or higher.
2. Offline Play: Core puzzle levels and Zen Mode function offline. However, ad-related features, rewarded video bonuses, and ad-gated revives require active internet connectivity.
3. Updates: We may release updates, patches, bug fixes, or enhancements from time to time via the Google Play Store. You agree to download and install updates to maintain compatibility, stability, and security.
Warranty Disclaimer
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
• ArroHop is provided to you on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, with all faults and without warranties of any kind.
• MoboDevs expressly disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including without limitation the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, quiet enjoyment, and non-infringement.
• We do not warrant that ArroHop will meet your requirements, be uninterrupted, timely, secure, bug-free, or error-free, nor do we warrant that defects will be corrected immediately.
Liability Limits
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:
• In no event shall MoboDevs, its developers, affiliates, or licensors be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages (including, but not limited to, loss of data, device malfunction, interruption of use, or loss of goodwill) arising out of or in connection with your access to, use of, or inability to use ArroHop.
• Our total aggregate liability arising out of or related to these Terms or the Game shall not exceed the total amount you actually paid to us for using the Game (which is $0.00, as the Game is provided completely free of charge).
Indemnity
10. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless MoboDevs and its developers from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or legal fees arising out of or relating to your violation of these Terms or your unauthorized use of the App.
Termination
11. Termination
- By You: You may terminate this Agreement at any time by simply uninstalling and discontinuing all use of ArroHop.
- By Us: We reserve the right, without notice and at our sole discretion, to modify, suspend, or discontinue ArroHop (or any feature thereof) or terminate your license to use the Game at any time.
- Upon termination, all rights granted to you under these Terms will immediately cease.
Legal Construction
12. Severability & Entire Agreement
- If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
- These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and MoboDevs regarding the subject matter herein.
Revisions
13. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to revise or update these Terms and Conditions at our sole discretion. Any changes will become effective immediately upon being posted with an updated "Last Updated" date at the top of this document. Your continued use of the Game following any updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
